Monday Morning With The Alchemist Tea Tree & Peppermint Shave Soap

Alchemist Tea Tree Peppermint Shave “Being someone who keeps his beard at about five inches, Monday morning tends to be a bit slower than most days. My grooming ritual is typically: shower, moisturize, and apply beard oil; Mondays, however, bring one more task to the table. Shave.

Now I know you’re thinking, ‘Shave? You just told us you have a beard.’ That’s an apt observation; however tapering is one of the most important parts of keeping your facial hair neat and looking well-groomed, so here we are.

The key to Monday’s shave is The Alchemist: Peppermint Shampoo & Shave Soap. You can moisten your hands, lather up, apply, or use a shave brush, as I’m wont to do (also, I recommend a cold-water shave). Using The Alchemist, you’ll immediately notice the cool scent. Soak it in, enjoy it. The soap bar’s coconut & jojoba oil base helps to reduce friction as the razor glides across your face. Meanwhile the soothing sensation of peppermint on your skin helps soothe any razor-related irritation. Typically, after several slow, meticulous movements of the wrist the unfilled areas on cheeks are smooth and my beard is perfectly lined up.

Once done, it’s me and the week, mano-a-mano.
